Our unique modelling wax softens with the natural heat of your hands, allowing for smooth, easy manipulation as you work on your designs. It responds to warmth, becoming more pliable for detailed shaping and fine-tuning. Once you're done, simply allow it to return to room temperature, and watch it firm up, locking your creation into its perfected form. Our medium modelling wax is designed with a filled composition, making it ideal for controlled modelling but unsuitable for direct casting. Choose between two versatile shades, brown for a classic, earthy tone, or natural for a lighter, more neutral base.

Our modelling waxes are used by sculptors and artists across the UK and the world, as well as some of the most prestigious schools of fine art, universities and medical teaching schools.

This is a medium hardness clay-like modelling wax, formulated to offer the ideal combination of firmness and workability.

At room temperature this wax can be manipulated by hand or tools.  It responds to warmth, becoming more pliable for detailed shaping and fine-tuning.  Once cool, it will firm up, locking your creation into its perfect form.

Our modelling wax readily sticks to itself, allowing a model to be built up with additional wax when needed.   It is a good alternative to clay, having the benefit of not drying out over time and therefore being reusable.   It can also be mixed with other waxes to fine-tune the hardness.
An inorganic filler is used to make the wax more workable.  As a result, this modelling wax is unsuitable for direct casting.  An alternative that can able to be cast directly is 1125 Medium Unfilled Modelling Wax

The standard colour available is off-white.  Choose between two versatile shades, brown for a classic, earthy tone, or natural for a lighter, more neutral base.  Other colours can be produced on request.

Available in two shades, natural off-white for a versatile finish, and brown for a richer, organic look.

Our modelling wax readily sticks to itself, allowing a model to be built up over time.
